　We made an agreement of MOU with Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society.
　　
　　NGO) 日本水生態協会 (Chinese name of Japan Water Guard) made an agreement of MOU (memorandum of understanding)
　　with Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society to facilitate development of aquatic ecosystem on July 18th, 2013 in Beijing.
　　We have agreed mutual benefits in the MOU.

　　

　　On the day of the agreement, the president's secretary 李賛堂 in Chinese Hydraulic Engineering
　　Society (Left) and President Yukio Kogure (Right) signed on the MOU. We promised to develop
　　our relationship, facilitate Ecosystemin China, and improve environment on this occasion.
　

　■MOU content (Cooperation content)
　　Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society and Japan Water Guard facilitate the development and
　　protection of aquatic ecosystem, as well as promote aquatic ecosystem academic projects.

　　1. Collaboration and promotion related to Aquatic Ecosystem Development area in Water Expo China.
　　2. Jointly hosted conference related to Aquatic Ecosystem Development and related activities.
　　3. Promotion of water improvement activities.
　　4. Development of technology and market related Aquatic Ecosystem Development.
　　5. Mutual utilization of each of our experience and conduction of Aquatic Ecosystem Project in both countries.

　　We designate the MOU as our important starting point to develop our relationship deeply,and we have continuously
　　cooperate for development of research, human resources, and academic communication area.

　■Office in Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society
　　To facilitate Japan Water Guard activity, we set up Japan Water Guard office in Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society.

　　Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society is academic institution which directly belongs in The Ministry
　　of Water Resources the People's Republic of China. The institution was established in 1931, and it is
　　historical large society in China. The society has role to facilitate academic communication, standard
　　establishment, and international cooperation in Chinese water issue related projects. The society has
　　100,000 members, and there are 41 expert committees, 9 operations committees, 60 groups' members,
　　and 31 ministry level societies. The main office is located in area of the Ministry of Water Resources
　　the People's Republic of China, and it plays important rol as the academic institution for water related
　　issues such as water control, drinking water, water‐power generation, and water environment in China.
